Hello Owls!!
I can't believe it is the last week of the school year- what a strange year it has been! It seems like a very long time ago when we were all together having fun as a class and it has been lovely to be able to see you all again as we come to the end of the school year. I hope that you have some good memories of the fun you had in Owl Class and I just wanted to say how proud I am of the great work you have all done. I really enjoyed teaching you all and I hope that you will continue to remember our whole class motto of 'always try your best' as you move up into Year 2 or Year 3.
For our final week we are continuing with our Minibeasts topic. I know the children who have been in Green Bubble with me really enjoyed going on a minibeast hunt around school so hopefully those of you who are at home will also find some interesting minibeasts in your gardens. Here is a photo of the strange creature we found hiding on a flower- I wonder if any of you know what it is?
One of the activities for this week is to think about this school year and remember some of your favourite parts. Mine was definitely the trip to Bristol Zoo but I also enjoyed reading to you all in class and sharing some of our lovely new books with you. Reading is one of my favourite things to do and I hope you will carry on practising your reading and enjoying sharing books with your family during the summer.
I can't wait to see you all again in September and to see you ready to start in your new year groups/classes- I'm really happy I get to keep some of you with me for another year!
Until then I hope you have lots of fun and adventures this summer and keep staying safe.
Love
Miss Hunt
