Hello Goldfinches!

It was fabulous to see nearly all of you last week! I hope you all enjoyed being back in school. It was a different sort of week and it was a shame that we couldn't all be together but it was so good to talk to you all. Miss Paul had a great time with the Year 2s and I certainly loved my week with the Y3s. At least it will give you a good idea of how school will look when we all come back in September.

This week is the last week of Home Learning before the summer holidays so I thought I would go with a holiday theme. You can choose any country you like, carry out some research and create your own leaflet on that country. It can be a country you have visited, somewhere your family might have been, or somewhere that you would love to go in the future. There is lots more information on the Home Learning sheet for you to read. I think you'll find it an exciting project for the week and you'll learn so much about another country! I'd love to see your work so please do photograph it and send it to the school office email, and let me know if you'd like it uploaded to our class pages.

I have absolutely loved teaching you all this year, even if it wasn't the year we had planned. I want to wish all the Year 3s the very best going into Year 4 . You have been an amazing bunch to teach for the last three years - I'm so proud of the outstanding progress you have made, I've loved your company and I'm really going to miss you.  And Year 2s...I'm really looking forward to teaching you next year- it's going to be totally awesome!

Have a super last week of Home Learning and enjoy some of the sunshine that has been forecast!

Take care,

From Mrs Baker-Brown smiley
