Hello Goldfinches!

I hope you are all well and have had a lovely half term with your families. I have been doing lots of baking, dog walking and spending time outside in the garden in the lovely sunshine. Charlie and Archie seem to be enjoying all the attention! I have also been in school getting lots of things ready for when school starts to reopen - hopefully we'll be able to see each other soon!

Thank you so much for the videos  of your stories that you sent in - they were lovely to watch and it was so nice to see you! (Apart from Archie P who was behind his puppet theatre so I couldn't see him!)

This term is starting off with a new whole school topic called 'Rainbows'. There are so many rainbows everywhere that we thought it would make a great topic! Our English links in with this and is called 'Rainbows, rainbows everywhere!'. It starts with a non-fiction focus which I know lots of you will enjoy! Our maths will continue with the BBC Bitesize lessons so enjoy working your way through those.

Reading is super important for you to keep practising so please do that! You can read books at home, from the work I have set and from Oxford Owl. There's some fab stories!

Have a lovely week getting back into your home learning and I look forward to hearing from you soon.

Take care and best wishes,

From Mrs Baker-Brown smiley
