Hello great Goldfinches!
I hope you are all well. It was lovely to speak to so many of you on the phone this week and to hear about what you have been doing with your families. I'm super proud of you for staying safe at home and trying so hard with your home learning. Your parents sound like they are doing an amazing job so make sure you give them all a dojo! Being a parent and doing home learning is super tricky! I've had to do some very hard maths with one of my daughters- I really needed some of you to help!
It's a really exciting start to this week as you can do your own Best Writing Yet! It's your chance to show your families your super best handwriting and copy up your Little Red Riding Hood stories. Please photograph them and email them to me if you can. I'd love to see them and I hope to upload them onto the website too.
Maths this week is all about money so get counting all the coins in your money boxes.
This Friday is a Bank Holiday and a chance to celebrate VE Day so the topic lessons are all linked to this.
