Home Learning 22.06.20

Hello Robins,

I hope you are all safe and well and hopefully this week we will be getting some better weather again.

Here is your home learning for the Week beginning Monday 22nd June. This week we are looking at the story of The Day the Crayons Quit. There is a PowerPoint of the story below. The writing activities are designed so you can read a section of the story at a time and complete the relevant activity as you go through the story during the week. We are still following a whole school theme of Rainbows. This week we will be looking at the story of Noah's Ark and some of the topic activities are related to this story, including making a boat that floats and drawing a very colourful picture, as well as a crayon science experiment.

For maths this week we are still using the White Rose videos, you can pause these and do the questions within the video and if you would like some more activities you can follow the link to the BBC website. I have also added a link to another website that the Year 1's could use if they wanted something extra or different.  Reception, please keep practising writing number to 20 and counting accurately. Year 1's you are focusing on numbers to 100 and place value of those numbers.

We really want to see what you have been learning at home so please don't forget that you can share your learning with us, either via your Tapestry account or you can get in contact by emailing the school office at office@cdw.bwmat.org. Remember you can also email us if you have any questions and we will do our best to answer them.

Stay safe and have a super week of home learning.

Mrs Sims and Mrs Bingham
