There are many opportunities for pupils to develop their leadership skills and to share their voice.
Class Reps
Our Class Reps represents the views of all our pupils. It gives children the opportunity to make their voices heard and feel part of the whole school community. Our Class Reps help organise various events over the year (such as Remembrance, Children in Need and Red Nose Day) and meet regularly with Mrs Howe.
Spiritual Group
Our Spiritual Group meet with Mrs Sims our RE Lead and with Mrs Baker-Brown. They enjoy supporting in the leading of Collective Worship, updating the Reflection Area in each class and are helping in the development of our Spiritual Courtyard 'God's Garden'.
Librarians
Our librarians are very proud of our new look library. They have enjoyed organising the books and suggesting recommended reads to others.
Eco Warriors
This group meets with Mr Hughes and are very excited to be leading the way in school with saving money during these difficult times. Two of our Y5 Eco Warriors recently lead a whole school presentation and discussion on COP27.
Mini Police
Our new Y5 Mini Police group are currently very excited to be working with local PCSOs to strengthen community links and promote a positive relationship with the police.
Science Ambassadors
Miss Brown works with the Science Ambassadors to raise the profile of science across the school. Fun and inclusive events such as Science Week, Science Investigations at home are arranged. The highlight has to be the Y5s camping in the school field being astrologers at night!
