Hello Owls!
I hope you enjoyed last week's work- I can't wait to hear what creatures you've found living in your gardens/outside. Watching birds come and collect seed from my bird table is one of my favourite things to do in the morning- it makes me laugh when some of the seagulls try to land on the table because they are far too big for it!
This week, you will be starting to explore some well known fairy tales starting with the Three Little Pigs. Remember when we made shadow puppets at school and retold some of the stories by changing the characters? This week I'd love for you to have a go at acting out the story of The Three Little Pigs and think about the main things that happen in the story. One of my favourite picture books is 'The True Story of the Three Little Pigs' because it is the wolf telling the story and he tells it very differently! If you don't know it take a look at this version online https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pF0h7NqpJQc.
I'm really excited about this week's History too as you will be interviewing a relative to find out what their childhood was like and compare it to your own. My Gran always tells me how she had never seen a banana until she was 11- these family memories are so interesting!
I hope you enjoy this week's tasks- remember to email me any photos of your work so that I can reply on Tuesdays!
