Reading - Online books are available at Oxford Owl.

Any reading practice is valuable so do encourage your children to read books you may have at home. Reading Comprehensions will be set weekly as part of home learning as well as English tasks which will often contain reading activities. 

Spelling - Weekly spellings lists are on the first Goldfinch page of the website. The children will be set their spelling tests every Friday as part of their home learning so please encourage your child to practise these spellings during the week. 

Home Learning - is uploaded to the school website and onto Teams daily. Printed packs are available to collect from school if needed. 

Live Chat - Goldfinch class have a weekly live chat on Teams on Wednesdays at 10.00. Children will be sent an invite on a Wednesday morning. 

Be flexible! Do structure your home learning in any way that suits your family. Choose the time of the day that suits you. Work can be submitted via Teams at any time or if there is difficulty with this it can be sent to the home learning email address.
