Term 5 and 6

Being Detectives

We had fun being detectives and using UV torches to find the hidden tricky words that were around the classroom.

St George's Day

We celebrated St George's day in Robin Class. We made shields, played with castle small world, did some jousting and wrote using ink and feathers.

We have really enjoyed doing lots of story writing during our independent learning time.

PCSO Visit

Our local PCSO came into Robin Class to tell us about her job and what she does. She showed us her uniform and equipment she uses. She also let us try on all the different police hats.

Weatherman Visit

We were very lucky to be visited by a real Weatherman. Ian Fergusson  spoke to use about how he presents the weather and about how the different weather systems are formed.

Optician Visit

We had an optician visit Robin class to talk about the importance of having our eyes tested. She told us about the different tests they do to test our eyes and we had a go at doing some of them.

Our RNLI Visit

Today we were visited by two people from the RNLI to talk to us about how to stay safe while at the beach. We learned about what the different coloured flags mean on the beach and some of us even got to try on some of the uniforms that life guards and the life boat crew wear. It was great fun.
