On Friday 18th May 2018, we celebrated the upcoming royal wedding by re-enacting it! We had our very own Princes, Princess', mother and father of the bride, Archbishop, bridesmaids, page boys and even The Queen made an appearance! The choir did a surprise performance which was amazing. We then went and enjoyed a wedding reception out in the sunshine with music!
We had a lovely afternoon at our Christingle Service sharing our learning about what the different parts of our Christingles represent, sharing songs and prayers. It was lovely that so many friends and family were able to share our service with us.
This afternoon (Thursday 1st February) we enjoyed learning about and making our Christingles. We are looking forward to sharing them with our friends and family at our Christingle service tomorrow (Friday 2nd February).
Christmas Choir Carol Singing
On Wednesday 13th December, our School Christmas Choir went carol singing at Mendip Lodge Care Home. We had a great time and the residents enjoyed singing along too. ☺️🎶🎄
On Tuesday 12th December, the pantomime came to Court-de-Wyck! (Oh no it didn't, Oh yes it did!) We were able to enjoy a fabulous version of Dick Whittington from the comfort of our own hall and we had a great time! We can't wait for next year!
On Friday 8th December the whole school split into their 'crew' groups to work together for our 'Shepherd Day'. We had fun using our art and DT skills to make sheep and shepherds. We were able to help the younger children make their own sheep. It was great to work together. We then had an assembly led by the spiritual group.
