At Court de Wyck Church School, we are committed to securing high-quality teaching and learning for all pupils and to promoting both achievement and wellbeing, regardless of personal circumstance. We believe every child should have access to enriching opportunities that broaden their experiences and support their success, including those they may not otherwise be able to access. Our use of Pupil Premium funding reflects this commitment.
School leadership and governance place teaching and learning at the heart of all decision-making. Time, energy and resources are carefully directed to strengthening classroom practice, raising achievement and ensuring that all pupils are supported to succeed.
We work proactively with every child to identify and remove barriers to learning—whether academic, emotional or social. Our aim is for all pupils, including those eligible for Pupil Premium funding and those with additional educational needs, to make strong progress and to take full part in the life of the school, both in and beyond the classroom.
Targeted support is delivered through high-quality teaching, well-planned interventions and effective use of teachers and teaching assistants.
For the academic year 2025–2026, the school anticipates receiving approximately £39,000 in Pupil Premium funding. The impact of this funding is carefully monitored throughout the year. We regularly evaluate how effectively our strategies support improved outcomes, ensuring that funding decisions are based on evidence and the needs of our pupils.
