WELCOME !!
On behalf of the staff, governors and children of Court de Wyck
Church of England Primary School may I welcome you to our website. We
try to keep it as up to date and informative as possible. To gain a real
flavour of our school, however, I would strongly encourage you to visit
us to see us in action for yourself.
Court de Wyck is set in the beautiful village of Claverham between
Bristol and Weston Super Mare. We are very proud of our school which
consists of five classrooms, hall, library, three playgrounds, an
adventure trail and large field. We are acutely aware of the increasing
role that ICT plays in modern life and provide our children with the
skills to be successful through our ICT suite which contains 15 desktop
computers and a bank of laptops which can be used anywhere within our
wireless networked school.
We are a Church of England School and have close links with Holy
Trinity, Cleeve and St Barnabas, Claverham. Christian values form the
bedrock of our ethos as we strive to develop successful learners,
confident individuals and responsible citizens.
We currently have 102 children on roll organised into five classes. We
are in the process of developing our curriculum to make learning
irresistible for our children. It is recognised that the parents and
carers are the primary educators of any child and we work hard to
develop strong home school links and provide support where it is
requested.

Our Vision
Building on its Christian foundation, Court de Wyck Church of England
Primary School aims to provide a safe environment in which every child
is valued and where a stimulating learning experience provides an
education of the highest quality. We seek to enable children to find
security, acceptance, mutual respect and an opportunity to develop their
personal potential.
As a school that serves the local communities of Cleeve and Claverham,
we encourage strong links with our local churches and, through upholding
Christian values, aim to enable all pupils to go forward with confidence
in their life and education.
